Layout 1: I also like this layout because the text boxes are next to eachother so the writing will flow with eachother. The pull quotes are in between each text box to split up the text and to draw the reader's attention to the most interesting parts of the text.
Layout 2: This is my favourite layout so far because the text is staggered therefore shouldn't put the reader off. The pull quotes and images help to break up the writing so that it doesn't look to overwhelming.
