Colour scheme 1: This colour scheme may appeal more to younger girls rather than my target market. Therefore if I choose to do these colours I have to be careful and make sure I make it look as sophisticated as possible. However I do think the navy and pink go well together and think it will appeal to my target market.

Colour scheme 2: This colour scheme includes a mint green/turquoise colour. I like this colour because I think it is eye catching and feel it will appeal to older teenagers rather than young teenagers. I like the bright colours because I think it will link in with the vibrant pop genre of magazine. The silver/grey will help to tone it down to it doesn't look too crowded and busy making it look like a young magazine.

Colour scheme 3: Blue, grey/silver and purple. I feel these colours will make the magazine suitable for older teenage females rather than younger children. The bright blue will help to make information stand out and make the magazine seen from on the shelf and stand out from its competitors, the grey will help to tone it down and purple will add a feminine feel to the magazine.
