Layout 1: This layout is different to the rest because the title is down the side. I like the pull quote being located at the top because it draws the reader's attention straight away and directly links to the main image. However I don't think I will be using this layout for my final design.
Layout 2: This layout is slightly different because the main image is located to the left rather than the centre. However I prefer the image to be in the centre of the page because it emphasises that it is the most important part of the page aswell as the name. I located the cover lines at the bottom right and the pugs dotted around the page. I didn't put a slogan on this layout because I'm not sure if I'm going to have one yet.
Layout 3: This is my favourite layout. I like how all the writing surrounds my main image. The specific examples of artists will be located at the bottom of the page so that the reader can see if there favourite artist is included in the magazine. The pugs are dotted around the page in order to attract reader's and highlight interesting information such as 'WIN' and 'FREE'. I will include a smaller image of a different artist with a pull quote to show that there are many more articles in the magazine.
