Final Contents Page

CONTENTS PAGE FINAL:
This contents page is my final. I like how the name of the magazine is repeated on the page to link it to the front cover. I also incorporated the blue colour which I have used throughout my magazine on the front cover and double page spread. I changed the subcription percentage to 40% instead of 47% because I feel that the reader will more likely be able to remember it if it is a round number.

Overall I feel this contents page would be successful in guiding the reader to which pages they are most interested in reading.

Final Front Cover

FINAL FRONT COVER:

This is my final front cover. I feel it would successfully stand out on the shelf from other magazines because of the bright colours. The front cover successfully promotes the artist because of the medium close up shot and that she is directly looking at the reader. The 3D effects make it look more professional and the style can be a unique selling point for my magazine. The blue links with the top which the artist is wearing and the purple provides a contrast.

Overall I feel this front cover is very effective and will be popular with my target market.

Final Double Page Spread

FINAL DPS:
This is my final draft of my double page spread. I feel this page successfully promotes the artist. I like how the questions are clearly seperated from the rest of the text due to the purple colour because the reader can then find which questions they are most interested in reading.

The pugs are in black to link with the second part of the title 'let loose' and the underlining of it. I included the page numbers at the bottom of each page so the reader can look on the contents page to find out what page it is on.

Feedback from Target Market

Feedback from female aged 17:

I really like the front cover. The colours have been chosen well because I think these particular colours will appeal to older teenage girls which is what the target market for the magazine is. The blues and purples work really well together and the white background makes them stand out well. I like how the blue matches the artist’ top, it really helps to link the whole page together. The purple font for the name of the magazine is good because it emphasises the brand of the magazine and will attract customers when they see it in the shop- they will be able to realise the brand of the magazine immediately. The 3D effects used look good and make the page look like an actual magazine and provide a unique selling point for the magazines because of it ‘bubbly’ and rounded 3D style. This ‘bubbly’ style also reflects the pop genre of the music magazine well. The fonts on the front cover all work well together even though they are slightly different; they still have the same rounded style. The main cover line about the artist stands out from the other items on the page and yet the font matches the rest which is cleaver. I like how certain words such as ‘hottest’ and ‘loudest’ are highlighted in the purple colour used for the name of the magazine, again this links the whole page together and looks all from the same magazine. Overall I feel this magazine front cover is very successful however, to improve I would add another image but there isn’t much room and may look to crammed so I’m not sure if I would personally add another image.

The contents page is also very successful. The two most recent drafts are much better than the first two. The black border tones the whole page down in order not to look ‘too young’. I like how the sub- headings of each section is in the same blue colour used throughout the magazine which links all the pages together. The smaller numbers instead of large numbers used on the first couple of drafts look much more adult like and would appeal more to the target market. The note from the editor makes the contents page look professional and I love how a different font is used to make it look like handwriting/signature from the editor. The feature placed near the image has a good effect used to make it look 3D and links in with the colours used. I think this contents page is also a very successful page and links well with the rest of the pages.

I think the double page spread is a really good page of the magazine. I really like the font used for ‘Lloyd’ because it emphasises who the article is about and by having a different font for the rest of the title, it separates the 2 parts of the heading but the reader will still know it is the same title. The image of the artist in the dress is very cleverly used and the colour of the dress matches one of the main colours used in the magazine. All of the colours have been used on the double page spread in order to link it with the contents and front cover. I like how the questions are all written in the purple font because it breaks the text up and helps the reader to find where the questions are and choose which one they would like to read. The text is all broken up so it isn’t off- putting to read.

Layouts used

Double page spread layout:
I feel this layout is very successful in promoting the artist. The main image is located on the right side of the left page so that the reader can begin reading and then see the image.

Contents page layout: This is my final layout of my contents page. I feel this layout has been the most successful which is why I am going to use it for my final contents page.

Front cover layout: This is the layout I have used for my front cover. I have changed it from my previous layouts as I have been constructing. I feel this layout includes all the essential items that a magazine has and will successfully promote my magazine brand and artist.

Looking good, but try to feather the text around your circular text boxes and not sure the textured background is appropriate, particularly with the grey edging

Fonts Used

'Arial rounded MT bold' I used this font for my name- Loud and main parts of the contents page. It is rounded and bold therefore felt it helped me emphasise important words and sentences and also shows the pop genre of the magazine because of the rounded 'bubbly' style

'Segoe UI' This font was used for the majority of the writing on the contents page. I felt this writing also has the rounded style but is less bold which made is suitable for the writing on the contents page.

'Annie BTN' was used for the signature of the editor of my magazine. This is the only unique font which I used and is different to all the others because it was for the signature. I think this font is effective due to it looking like a person's handwritting therefore suitable for the editor's signature.

'Elementary SF' This font was one of my original font ideas. I like the font because it is simplistic and rounded which fits in with all the other fonts used. I used this font for parts of the front cover. It links in well with the other 'rounded' style fonts.

'Trebuchet MS' This font was used for the majority of the text on my double page spread. I wanted to use a range of fonts so I decided to change the font from 'Segoe UI' used on the contents page to something different. I still feel this fits in with the 'rounded' style but looks slightly different which I like.

Colour Scheme Used

This is the colour scheme I used. This colour scheme wasn't in my original ideas but I felt the colours all linked well into eachother and portrayed the genre well. The blue goes with the artist's top on the front cover and the purple adds a feminine feel. The bright colours represent the pop genre of music whilst the black and white tone it down so it doesn't look too 'young' and too much.

Dolby

Danielle, the 3rd draft is much better. Make sure you have really strong links in terms of style across all three pages to create the house style brand; maybe pick up on the blue tones and look at the font type.

Double page spread drafts

Double page spread 5th draft: In this draft I ensured all the white gaps were filled. I also changed the font for 'let loose' to 'franklin gothic book' and then made it bold. I prefer the font of this text now because the 'T' isn't joined to teh rest of the text.
I also felt that the text was all bunched up at the top and looked quite 'crammed' I have made some space between the sub- heading and the start of the text and also made some space between the bold black lines underlining the title.

Double paged spread 4th draft:
This draft is again similar to my previous draft however I decided to change the font for 'Let loose' because I felt the second part of the title was too bold and heavy for the page. I also think this makes 'Lloyd' stand our from the page even more which is good because this is what I wanted the emphasis to be on. I decided to put a 'feather' effect on the pugs which I think looks much better, it doesn't look so heavy and makes it more interesting. I took off the black outline of the image because I felt it didn't match the style of the page. I then changed the captions for the photos. To improve this further I may add one more pull quote at the bottom of the first page to fill the gap. Overall I am very pleased with how my double page spread has developed.

Double page spread 2nd draft:
This second draft of my double page spread incorporates the blue colour which I used on my front cover. I felt this was important to include because it creates the house style for my magazine and links all the pages together so that the reader's know that all of the pages are from the same brand of magazine.

I also included a second image of the artist wearing a purple dress which ties in with the main colour used in my magazine.

Overall I am pleased with this draft of my double page spread because I feel it includes all the appropriate features to successfully attract reader's to purchase and read my magazine. I also think the images work well because they relate to the pop genre of music my magazine is. I highlighted specific words in the blue colour to catch the reader's eye and emphasise that these are the important parts of the text.

Double page spead 1st draft:
I am pleased with how my first draft of my double page spread turned out. I feel it looks sophisticated and the colours look good together on the page. I think the font used for 'Lloyd' looks eye catching and stands out from the rest of the title so that the reader can establish who the main artist is and see that this is the most important part of the title and the whole double page is about her. I also put a 3D effect on the 'Lloyd' to make ti stand out from the page. The bubble effect also emphasises the pop genre of the magazine. I put a sub- heading in a slightly different bolder font at the top of the page to isolate it and show it is an important part for the reader to look at. I then used the same font for the caption saying where to download the artists new album to link the important parts together.
I chose to do an interview style page and seperated the questions from the rest of the text by making the font purple to link with the 'Lloyd' font and the front cover colour scheme. I like how the question is in a different colour font and bold style because the reader can clearly see which parts are the questions and which are the answers. I chose to do a 'drop caps' at the start of the article so that the reader can immediatley find where the article starts without them having to search for it. I also think it makes the page look more professional. I included the pull quote in the pug to seperate break up the text.
The image is situated on the top right side of the page because the reader can read the writing first as people read from left to right. I like the image because she looks relaxed. I put an effect on the image, making it have a slight black blur around the egde to link in with the black font and make it look like its coming off the page and not flat. However I may look at using a different image because it could look too 'posed'.
To improve, I will introduce more pull quotes to break up some of the text and insert another image of the artist on the right hand side of the right page. I will also add a background effect/colour to tie in with my front cover and contents page so it doesn't look so plain. I may add an effect on the 'Let Loose' part of the title so it doesn't look too plain and simple but I have to ensure the main emphasise is kept on the 'Lloyd part of the title.'

straker

I like what you're doing and I agree about the colour. One thought, not sure that the font saying what's in the mag is the right size...possibly too big?

Contents page drafts

Contents page 4th draft: This fourth draft is definitely the most successful. It is similar to my third draft however I incorporated the light blue colour from my front cover in order to ensure the page links to my front cover and double page spread. I also put the 3D effect on the 'LOUD' title of the magazine which is the same style as my front cover font. This makes a unique logo for my name of the magazine therefore the reader can associate the specific style of writing with my brand of magazine.

I included an editors note at the top of the page because I feel this makes the page look better and more professional. I chose not to include a photo of the editor because it would not be very good quality as it will be very small and blurred. I adjusted the font for 'this week' so it matches with the rest of the text on the page.

I feel this draft is a successful contents page and includes all of the codes and conventions a magazine must have. However, to improve this further I will change the percentage of '47%' to a rounded number like '40%' because I feel the reader will be able to remember this number better than the odd number.

Contents page 3rd draft: This is my favourite draft for my contents page. I think the black background of the title gives the page a frame and draws the reader's attention to the title. I highlighted specific words which I felt would most interest the reader so that they become attracted with what the magazine is offering them.
I included a pug which had a 3D effect because I felt the black shadow links in with the black backgrounds. I also felt it seperates important/interesting information and the information inside it is exclusive to my magazine meaning reader's will be able to distinguish between competitors.

In this draft I included a promotion box which is promoting the subscriptions to Loud. I feel this is important because it gives the magazine a professional look and it makes the reader want to continue reading.

I changed the large numbers to smaller ones because I feel this makes it look more sophisticated and less childlike. The features are all written in a different font too called 'Segoe UI'. This font is rounded and fits in with the name of the magazine and the pop genre.

Overall I feel this draft is successful because I feel it would attract my target market and many other customers. The magazine also promotes the artist well due to the images I have used. I may continue to improve this by adding an editor's note because I feel this makes the page look professional. I may also introduce the light blue colour so that the house style is continued throughout each page of the magazine.

Contents page 2nd draft: I prefer the title being 'This week' rather than contents because I feel it sounds more sophisticated than calling it contents page. I made the 'Loud' title bigger to show it is the contents page from Loud.
I decided to split the features into different columns so it is easier for the reader to find what article they are looking for. I also think the page looks better and neater with the clear bold headings.
I adjusted the location of the image to the right side of the page rather than left because I want people to read at least the first column before looking straight at the image. I changed the background colour to match the front cover. I added a very small photo of the editor of my magazine so the reader can see who it is.
The black lines help to seperate each article and overall make the page clearer and neater. I included a thicker black line to underline 'This week' and the sub headings so that the reader can clearly see what the sub- headings are.
Finally, I included a 'regulars' section to show the magazine is successful and included some of the specific features in every issue. To improve this I will adjust the location of some of the fonts and images on this page because some parts are not in line so I will ensure everything looks correct in my next draft. I will also try to involve the subsriptions/promotions box which I included in my first draft, but it didn't fit. I will attempt to make space to see if it fits anywhere on the page because I feel this helps to successfully promote my magazine and make the reader's want to subsribe to my magazine.

Contents page 1st draft:This is my first draft of the front cover. I felt it was important to keep the same background colour as my front cover because it helps link the magazine together and show the reader it is from the same issue. It also continues the house colour scheme throughout the magazine which is important because then the reader can associate the colours with my brand of magazine.
I chose to put the logo of 'Loud' at the top of the magazine because it again emphasises the name of my magazine so that the reader can remember it. I also included the issue number so loyal reader's can track which issues they have purchased and when. I included an editor's note at the top because I felt it made the page look more professional. To improve this section I will add a small image of my editor.
I decided to set my page in two columns with a black line seperating each article. The numbers are in a larger bold font so the reader can clearly see which articles most interest them and go to those specific pages straight away. I also included a promotions box where I included a subscription offer and advertisement of the free itunes vouchers which are given away in the magazine. To improve, I may split the columns up with sub headings of 'Regulars' for the regular items involved in the magazine, 'Features' and 'Offers'. I feel this may make the page look more sophisticated and appeal to an older audience. It will also help the reader know exactly what is included in the magazine and will be more clear. I will take a photo of some itunes vouchers to include in the promotions box. Overall I am pleased about how my contents has turned out but feel it needs some improvements.

Front Cover Drafts

Front cover 5th draft: This draft is again similar to my previous drafts however I changed the fonts of the writing in the top and bottom blue box to a slightly more rounded font to fit with the style of the name of my magazine.

I also changed the 'exclusive interview' font so that the pull quote stands out more than what page it is on.

Front cover 4th draft: This is similar to the third draft but I put a 3D effect on the top and bottom blue borders. I feel this made the magazine look less flat and more professional.

I decided to change the fonts of some for some of the text because I felt that 'Gothic720 LtBT' was a thinner font and looked better because it made the main article about the artist stand out better.

I added the 'feather' effect and 'bevel and emboss' to make the pugs 'stand out' from the page emphasising the interesting information even more. This 3D effect also links with the style of the name of my magazine and I feel it all fits and goes well together.

In this draft I ensured everything on the right side of the page was lined up and balanced with the items on the left side of the page. I feel the balance and alignment of items on this draft is much better than my previous drafts.

Front cover 3rd draft: I feel this draft is better than the 2nd draft because the background colour is much brighter and all the gaps are now filled.

I then made all the purple the same colour as the title in order to link it all together. I made another pug with extra information about the 'Top 100 tracks of this week' because I feel this would interest customers and balances the left side of the page with the right. On this draft I like how the items are all lined up however I'm not sure about some of the fonts I have used.

To improve this draft, I may add some effects to the pugs so they don't look like they have just been stuck on the page- I will add the effects to make it look more integrated into the page and I will also modify the fonts I have used especially on the right side of the page.

Front Cover 2nd Draft: The most drastic change to this draft is the different colour background. I changed it from bright blue because I feel the white/cream colour helps the name and writing to stand out even more and the colours don't blend too much but they still go well together. I tried to match the colour of the artist's top to the pug and the bars located at the top and bottom of the cover, which helps link the image and text together. I still kept the purple colour scheme because I feel it is a good colour to use for a pop genre of magazine. The purple title also links in with the rest of the writing because I have used the exact same purple to highlight the most interesting parts of the text which I want the reader to see when they first look at it on the shelf.

I have changed the main photo because I felt the first image didn't represent her composing music, but instead just a consumer of music as she was listening to it rather than performing. Instead in this image she has an innocent pose and smiley which I feel portrays the pop genre of magazine well. Her cheerful pose invites the reader in to continue to read about her. I made the fonts smaller so that the reader can tell the main story is about Catherine Lloyd and not about how to get the best concert tickets.

Overall I am very pleased with my second draft because I think the colours work better together and the image looks better. To improve this further I would move the 'Exclusive interview' section of text up so that 'Catherine Lloyd' is easier to read on the lighter background. I would also adjust the writing on the right hand side of the cover so it is in line and may even add one more feature between them as I feel it looks quite empty compared to the left side of the magazine.

Front Cover 1st Draft: This is my first draft of my front cover. I started with importing the image. I decided to first try the image with the girl holding the ipod because I felt this would clearly show the music theme of the magazine. However after editing the photo in serif I will try a different photo as after I 'feathered' the edges, it made the ipod very blurry and the wire almost disappeared. I may choose one of my other photos without the ipod to see if it looks any better.

I then cut the image out from its background because I felt the background was too dull. I changed it to a bright blue- purple colour to link in with my colour scheme and so that it will stand out on the shop shelf. I chose to change the font of my sub headings from 'Toledo' to 'Bell Gothic Std black' because I felt this looked better on the page and looked more like a sub- heading font. I highlighted key words such as 'hottest' and the artist's name 'Catherine Lloyd' in a deep purple colour to show the audience this is the most important and interesting information. I then highlighted the word 'Loudest' in the exact same colour of the title to link the name and slogan together. For the fonts I used white, black and purple to highlight different information on the cover. I think the white is the most effective colour when helping information stand out and black tones it down. I felt the pugs help to again emphasise the most interesting information and suggests that it is the information that would most appeal to my target market. When developing the title, I may bring the letters closer together. The barcode is included in the bottom right corner with the price, date and issue number. It is the least important feature on the page which is why I chose to locate it here, however is a legal requirement.

Overall I feel that the layout of the page is good as all the writing is situated around the image. I think all the colours go well with eachother and I'm very pleased with how the image came out.

Dolby

Excellent ideas here Danielle and a range of images you could use, maybe once you have decided on the lead story you will have on the artist this will help choose which images would be best suited to that story.

How planning will help my construction

Overall I have felt it very useful to plan for my music magazine because it will ensure I know exactly what I am doing for when I start my construction. The first item I started with which I felt would help me greatly when planning was my mindmap. The reason I completed a mindmap was so that I could see clearly which areas I needed to plan and so that I could ensure I had covered all areas and not missed any feature out. The mindmap also helped me come up with general ideas before I had started planning the specific areas. I am very glad that I did the mindmap because it helped me a lot when planning.

I felt a good place to start was ideas for names of my music magazine. Some of my favourite names were TVBtunes which stood for 'The Very Best Tunes', 'Tunes', 'Hitz' and 'Fresh'. However I felt some of these portrayed a more R&B feel for the magazine rather than pop. I also thought ''TVBtunes' and 'Tunes' sounded quite young which is why I didn't choose them. After many thoughts and ideas I came up with 'Loud'. I like this name because it is bold and vibrant which is what pop music is like therefore feel that it represents the genre of the magazine well. Loud also links to music which again makes the reader know it is a music magazine.

Once I had chosen the name for my magazine I started looking at some fonts and designing it. After designing a number of fonts, my favourite fonts were: 1, 2, 5 and 7. I am going to go with font 5 because I like the 3D effect it has and the bright blue colour of it because I feel it will attract reader's when on the shelf. However when it comes to constructing and it doesn't look correct, I will think about using one of the other fonts.

After this I started to look at the layouts for my front cover, contents page and double page spread. I have decided to use layout 3 for the front cover because I feel my images will fit well around all the other features. I think I may have a slogan saying 'The hottest and loudest tunes right now!' because this links with my name of the magazine and clearly shows the magazine is a music magazine so that the reader can clearly see it is music themed when it is on the shelf. I have decided on layout 3 for my contents page because I like how the two columns are staggered so it won't be one lump of writing. I also like how there is room for a second image and any promotions I will choose to include. For my double page spread I think I will develop layout 1 because I think the two columns next to eachother will give a mature look. The pull quotes will help break the writing up so that reader's aren't put off from the amount of writing.

The next area I looked at was fonts. I first looked at fonts for my writing throughout the magazine. After testing different styles I am going to choose font 2: 'Elementary SF' because it is a simplistic font therefore won't take the emphasise off the images and main headings. The font is also rounded so will fit with the other rounded- bubble style fonts. For the sub- headings I think I will use 'Toledo SF' because it clearly differs from the elementary font which is what I want because it will help the reader to distinguish between the headings and normal fonts. I also feel this will fit in well with the other fonts I am going to use in my magazine.

I then took various photos for my front cover, contents page and double page spread. I felt it was important to have the same artist featured in all three pages so that it all links together. I like images 1, 3 and 4 the most for my front cover. I like how they are all directly looking at the camera in order to make it personal to the reader. I like how image 3 includes the iPod because it emphasises the music theme of the magazine. I haven't yet decided which image to use as I am going to see which looks the best once I start constructing the magazine. For my contents page I like images 1 and 2 due to the relaxed poses. I think I will choose image 1. For my double page spread I am going to choose photo 1 but may also include photo 3 in the magazine somewhere.

The final feature I planned was the colour schemes. I think I am going to use colour scheme 2 because I feel they are the most eye catching and appealing colours. I think they will attract reader's due to them being bright and vibrant and hopefully attract older female teenagers due to bright pinks and purples not being used.

Colour Schemes

Colour scheme 1: This colour scheme may appeal more to younger girls rather than my target market. Therefore if I choose to do these colours I have to be careful and make sure I make it look as sophisticated as possible. However I do think the navy and pink go well together and think it will appeal to my target market.

Colour scheme 2: This colour scheme includes a mint green/turquoise colour. I like this colour because I think it is eye catching and feel it will appeal to older teenagers rather than young teenagers. I like the bright colours because I think it will link in with the vibrant pop genre of magazine. The silver/grey will help to tone it down to it doesn't look too crowded and busy making it look like a young magazine.

Colour scheme 3: Blue, grey/silver and purple. I feel these colours will make the magazine suitable for older teenage females rather than younger children. The bright blue will help to make information stand out and make the magazine seen from on the shelf and stand out from its competitors, the grey will help to tone it down and purple will add a feminine feel to the magazine.

Potential Double Page Spread Images

Photo 1: This image is similar to image 3 but she is looking at the camera this time. I think I will have a mix of images with some looking directly at the camera and some not.
Photo 2: This image is another relaxed one. I like how she is directly looking and smiling at the camera because it gives the feel of happiness.
Photo 3: This image looks relaxed and comfortable due to the position she is in. By having the iPod in the photo, emphasises the music theme. The patterned leggins and top make her look edgy.

Potential Contents Images

Photo 1: This image is more relaxed than the others and again has direct eye contact with the reader. I like the intense and strong colours to reflect the bold connotations of the title 'Loud'.

Photo 2: This image is similar to image 3 but she is looking directly at the camera in this shot to again make it more personal to the reader.

Photo 3: This image is the same girl as the front cover but in a slightly different position. I like how she isn't looking at the camera because it makes her look more innocent. By having the same person it helps links the contents page and the front cover together and show that it is all from the same issue.

Potential Front Cover Images

Photo 1: This image is different because she has both of her arms down by her side which is good because I will be able to write cover lines and pull quotes around her. I like how she is smiling because it reflects my pop genre of magazine. Her position is open and makes the reader feel like she wants them to read the magazine.

Photo 2: I like how this image differs from the others as she is not looking directly looking at the camera. However this may make the magazine look less personal as she doesn't look like she is alluring the reader's to open the magazine and read about the article. Also by having her hands on her hips it doesn't leave me a lot of room to place cover lines and other features neccessary for the front cover.

Photo 3: I like how this image has the iPod involved in it because it shows the reader that it is a music magazine. The reader will be able to see from the shelf that it is a music magazine due to the props in this image. She is directly looking at the camera to engage the reader and make it personal to them and it shows she is enticing them to read on. She looks edgy and unique which is what I wanted to portray through the image.

Photo 4: This image has enough space at the top for me to place the title of the magazine. There is also room for cover lines, pugs and pull quotes around the image. I chose to take some photos of her smiling in order to reflect my pop genre of music magazine being fun and vibrant. She is wearing blue because my colour schemes will be blues, greys, turquoise and purples. Her hair is down to show her girliness and to appeal to females. Due to her looking quite old, I feel it will be successful in attracting my target market (15- 19 year old females)

Double page spread layouts

Layout 1: I also like this layout because the text boxes are next to eachother so the writing will flow with eachother. The pull quotes are in between each text box to split up the text and to draw the reader's attention to the most interesting parts of the text.

Layout 2: This is my favourite layout so far because the text is staggered therefore shouldn't put the reader off. The pull quotes and images help to break up the writing so that it doesn't look to overwhelming.

Font ideas

Sub heading 1: 'Segoe UI'

Sub heading: 'Eras Demi ITC'

Sub heading: 'Britannic Bold'

Sub heading: 'Blippo Light SF'

Sub heading: 'Aharoni'

Sub- Heading: 'Toledo SF'

Overall my favourite fonts for the sub- headings are: Toledo SF, Britannic bold and Segoe UI. I feel Britannic bold stands out more than a standard font so I will think about using this font. However I don't know if it will link with my rounded style for my other fonts. Segoe has a rounded style so I may think about using this style. I could also mix and match different fonts for my sub headings (e.g. put the first letter in a large bold font with the rest being in more of a subtle font)

FONTS FOR CONTENTS AND DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD:

Font 1: 'Rod'

Font 2: 'Elementary SF'

Font 3: 'Toledo SF'

Font 4: 'Trebuchet MS'

Font 5: 'Clarity gothic SF'

Overall I think I use the font 'Elementary SF' because I feel it is a basic and simple font which won't take the emphasis away from the main features of the page. The font is also rounded which links in with the font for my title on the front cover and the soft/bubbly pop genre of the magazine.
